I am a traveler from the Midwest, and one of the things I appreciate most when staying at a hotel is a clean room, new bedding, and a well-equipped kitchen. the Old Fire Station in Birmingham exceeded my expectations by providing all of these amenities and more. the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I was able to cook healthy meals in the communal kitchen thanks to the generous selection of new utensils provided. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with excellent bus connections to the rest of the city and two restaurants open late just downstairs. the strong AC kept my room cool during the summer heat, and the in-house reading room was a lovely bonus. I had a fantastic experience at the Old Fire Station and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Birmingham.
